My name is Ei (pronounced 'A').
I’m a movement practitioner and a lover of simple, connected living.
Childhood trauma left me carrying pain, and for years I felt disconnected from myself. It was through movement that I began to feel at home in my own skin. I discovered how the body holds our stories, and how we can release trauma through movement.
My classes grew out of this journey. Blending Pilates, Yoga, Calisthenics and Breathwork, I offer a gentle space for every body, at every stage of life.
Nature is at the heart of my work. Living on a boat on the Kennet and Avon Canal, I’m surrounded by the flow of water and the rhythm of the seasons. Many of my sessions take place outdoors, where moving beneath the sky or beside the trees helps us return to a deeper sense of belonging.
In my own life, I find joy in many forms of movement such as running, sea swimming, surfing, cycling and hiking, each bringing me a sense of aliveness. I find balance with yoga, reading and cooking. For me, both movement and rest are forms of medicine.
I believe every body deserves the chance to move, to heal, and to feel at home within themselves. If you’re longing to reconnect with your body, to feel stronger, more flexible, and more at ease, I would love to welcome you.
