WELCOME TO FLOWT&

Movement. Story. Strength. Connection.

At FLOWT& we believe in learning through movement.
Through yoga, Pilates, storytelling, and creative exploration, we help young people move their bodies, fire up their imaginations, and build confidence: all while having fun!

Founded by a qualified teacher with a passion for expressive movement and child development, FLOWT& brings together physical strength, creativity, and storytelling to nurture the whole child mind, body, and heart.

See what sessions we can offer below.

FLOWT&draw

Where art meets movement.
Children flow through yoga-inspired shapes and sequences to tell stories with their bodies and then bring those stories to life on paper. We might use sweeping body movements to create large collaborative drawings or draw our silhouettes.

These sessions are about creativity, expression, and joy in motion.

FLOWT&strong

Our Pilates-based sessions designed to build resilience: inside and out.
Through stories of endurance and courage we move, stretch, and strengthen while reflecting on what it means to be strong. Whether we’re acting out a mountain climber’s adventure or embodying the calm focus of a hero, children learn that strength can come from kindness, persistence, and teamwork.

FLOWT&fire

Run in partnership with a qualified forest-school teacher. These outdoor sessions bring movement and nature together.
Young people gather materials and learn all about the magic of fire. We might toast marshmallows, bake simple breads, and share yoga storytelling around the warmth of the flames. It’s a grounding, sensory experience.

movement, mindfulness, and nature in harmony.

Curriculum-Linked Movement Sessions

As an experienced, qualified teacher, I can design bespoke movement sessions connected to the school curriculum.
For example:

  • Maths: exploring shape and space through movement or counting, patterns and sequences through fun games
  • Literacy: acting out key stories through expressive poses
  • History: embodying the journeys of explorers or inventors through movement sequences
  • PSHE: movement sessions and games about friendship, emotions, and self-regulation.

These sessions help children feel their learning — deepening understanding through experience, not just instruction.
